Martial Arts by Jeff Schrembs 7th degree Black Belt
Martial Arts:
Being able to defend yourself is important and necessary.
I started taking lessons years ago and I am proud that I reached my "goal" and that was to achieve the rank of 7th degree Black Belt. Having the strength, mental ability, training, physcial ability, along with being able to manage the "anger"
(to combine these vital ingredients and still be a productive American Citizen) is...crucial.
I am proud that my sons have taken lessons and that they are following in my footsteps. Their goal is to be "red belts" but my goal for them is to learn the right way, gain flexibility, get stronger, master their forms, and focus their energy into building their self-esteem and managing their mental/physcial abilities.
I encourage EVERYONE to get their children into the Martial Arts because the "enlightenment" that your child will discover, and the confidence that comes with it, is...priceless. It is not only a "sport" but a way of life. Being able to defend yourself, your family, and others is...a necessity.
Fortunately, there are so many styles (from 60% kicks, to throws, to punches, to balance, etc.) to choose from a little "time/effort" will surely reap rewards for you and your child now...and in the future. Take care and God bless.
BRUCE LEE. Nothing more is necessary to say. This Video says...it all. It has been OVER thirty years now since his passing but his words, and his style, remains...THE standard. Enjoy!
